✨ Four evenings to refine, explore, and grow,
finding new ease and clarity as the wheel guides your hands

 

A month of returning to the wheel, of small breakthroughs, gentle corrections, shared laughter, messy moments, focused practice, and the quiet satisfaction of feeling your skills deepen week after week.

 

Wheel throwing (the art of shaping clay on the potter’s wheel) becomes more meditative and intuitive at this stage. Over four Tuesday evenings, you’ll revisit your foundations with fresh awareness and learn how to throw with more intention, balance, and confidence.

Course Program

​

In the first evenings, you’ll strengthen your centering, refine your pulling technique, and throw cylinders with cleaner walls and better control. You’ll begin exploring more intentional shapes such as bowls, cups, and transitional curves.

 

As the month unfolds, you’ll dive into more advanced trimming, carving elegant feet, refining proportions, and developing a clearer sense of form and flow. You’ll also be introduced to throwing small series, repeating a shape to build consistency and confidence.

 

This cycle is designed to help you move from “I can do it” to “I can shape what I imagine,” building technique through rhythm, repetition, and a supportive atmosphere.

 

After completing the cycle, you’ll be able to book a wheel during our member sessions to continue practicing, since real mastery only comes from returning to the wheel again and again.

The course will be conducted in English and the teacher also speaks French and Spanish.

The introductory course is limited to 8 participants, creating a warm, intimate environment of 16 hands working together.
