Learn the Coil Throwing technique! 🌀

Catalina welcomes you to Studio Kiwi to discover coil throwing, a hybrid technique that blends hand-building and slow wheel work.

Course Program

​​​

In this one-day workshop, you will learn how to create bold and expressive forms by stacking large coils of clay directly on your wheel.

​

It’s one of Catalina’s favorite techniques: it invites slowness, flow, and focus. It opens up new possibilities for volume and texture, allowing you to create pieces with presence and character.

​

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a unique piece, functional or sculptural, up to 40 cm tall.

​​

Language​

​

The course will be conducted in English but Catalina also speaks French and Spanish.

​​

Small Group​

​

The workshop is limited to 7 participants (14 hands), ensuring personalized guidance and plenty of individual support.

​

👉 A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to take place.
