Catalina welcomes you to Studio Kiwi for an immersive workshop designed for potters who already have some experience on the wheel and want to take it further. Whether you aim to master form, refine proportions, or simply gain confidence through repetition, this 2-day intensive will give you the tools and the time.

Catalina meets you where you are, then helps you go a step further, or two!

Course Program

​

Over two days, you will explore:
👉 Throwing with intention: form, volume, rhythm
👉 Controlling proportions and achieving balance in your shapes
👉 Working with larger amounts of clay
👉 Improving wall consistency and repetition
👉 Exploring complex forms: closed shapes, jars, vases, bowls, sets
👉 Developing your own throwing sequences and habits

The format mixes demonstrations, one-on-one feedback, and extended practice blocks. You’ll be throwing all day, with purpose.

Language

The course will be taught in English, but Catalina also speaks French and Spanish.

Small Group

​

The workshop is limited to 7 participants, ensuring a high level of individual attention in a supportive atmosphere.

👉 A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to take place.

Price

​

🔸 Includes all clay, studio tools, two full days of instruction, and all pieces thrown and trimmed during the course.
🔸 Glazing is not included in the fee (see “Glazing & Finishing” below).

Glazing & Finishing

​

After the workshop, your finished pieces will be bisque-fired to 950°C. You can then glaze them at your own pace:
